You can use our various models according to your requirement for silver recovery or silver extraction. We have 8 models for Pure Silver Recovery from Hypo, Silver Recovery from Fixer, Silver Recovery from Colour Bleach, Silver Recovery from CD Developer Solution.

The Models are available in various sizes and capacity.

General details are as under :-

All Photographic, X-Ray, Sonographic, Offset and other films are coated by silver bromide along with other chemicals. After exposing, this films are sent for developing process. The films are developed in FIXER solution, where exposed area’s Silver is dissolved in the solution. After number of processes the solution becomes saturated, it is useless for further process. It means that solution is a waste for Film processing & this solution contains valuable Silver. Silver content varies from solution. to solution.

SOURCES OF RAW MATERIAL & SILVER CONTENT IN FIXER Solution (APPROX.) PER LITER :-
Clinic X-Ray & Industrial X-Ray - 3 to 10 gms/lt,

Sonography - 3 to 10 gms/lt,
Photo Studio (Black & White) Hypo - 1 to 2.5 gms/lt,

Offset graphic film processors - 6 to 20 gms/lt,
Block Makers - 2 to 3 gms/ltr,

Colour LAB, Colour Fixer - 3 to 8 gms/lt & Colour Bleach - 2 to 5 gms per/lt.
CD Developer Solutions: 0.5 to 2 gms/ltr.

TESTING OF SOLUTION :-
Solution should be tested while buying and processing by Silver Estimator Paper (available with us), which estimates approx. silver content in grams per litre of Solution

SILVER CONTENT IN EXPOSED FILMS APPROX. :-
X-Ray - 8 to 20 gms/kg.,
Movie Film (Black & White) - 5 gms/kg.,
Photo Film (Black & White) - 5 gms/kg.

INSTALATION :-
1. All these machines are portable & no foundation is required.
2. All this machines are Turn-Key-Basis first fill in the Solution or take the solution in a container & plug in the machine & switch it ON & process will start.

OPERATING :-
It’s very simple to operate. The electrodes are to be dipped in the hypo water taken in a plastic bucket & the unit is to be connected to single phase - 230/250 Volts A.C electrode supply. Pure Silver will be deposited on one of the electrodes or will be precipitated in the form of a compound (depends on model). Detailed Operating Instruction Manual is provided along with the machine free of charge. Time of recovery of silver differs upon the concentration of silver per litre present in spent solution, i.e. more silver more time. Highest Efficiency is at 250 volt A.C input.

ELECTRODE & CHEMICAL :-
Electrodes are permanent & do not require any replacement. No chemicals required during machine processing.

ATTENDENCE DURING PROCESS :-
It is not essential to attend the machine continuously while operating. Just start the process & stop after it is processed completely as per your estimation.

PROCESSING COST :-
0/50 Paisa to Maximum Rs.3/- per lit. including electricity & melting charges.

DEMONSTRATION :-
We give 100% satisfactory practical demonstration at our factory. Solution (Hypo, Fixer, or Bleach) is to be brought by customer at least half the capacity of the unit requirement.

MELTING JOB & ITS COSTING :-
Finally the flakes or compound precipitated are required to be melted to get silver block that can be sold in the market. Get the melting job done by local silver melters (available in all cities) who will melt it in your presence. Cost of melting flakes comes approx. to Rs.20/- to 50/- per kilo while for precipitated compound comes approx. to Rs.200/- to 250/- per kilo.

PROJECT REPORT :-
Project Report is available at extra cost.
